| As the occupying forces scoured Berlin for Peenemunde people, Ehricke waited in hiding until the USA would come knocking. In one close call he escaped through a rear door while Russian soldiers stormed the front door. Finally, he and others who eluded the Russians were brought with all their priceless talents to the United States under contract to the U.S. Army. |
